Christ Reconciles ALL Things - Marriage

This couple is so special to us. We first met them at a Marriage Conference we put on in early 2020. They were invited by some of our community leaders. We sat down with them at lunch and that started a mentoring relationship with them that was so sweet. They were hungry for guidance and direction in their marriage. We met with them consistently until we left Zambia in the fall of 2023. Marriage is not easy in Africa (or anywhere) and there are so many cultural obstacles to the true beautiful, biblical marriage that is rooted in Scripture. We shared how we have to always push against our own culture in this and they could stand strong as well. Their vulnerability and openness made our relationship with them so easy. They also share that they appreciated the teachings and counseling and they would love to see more couples learn and benefit from this teaching like they did! We know that even now the wife states that she remembers all that we shared with them and she is holding fast to her marriage and the true meaning of it, the beauty of Christ's love for His church. Marriage isn't about us...Join us in praying for the marriages in Chibolya. This is a major battle ground in not only our community but across Africa. Strong marriages are the bedrock of society.
